Episode 9: The importance of being consistent in doing business online

Hi there!

Welcome to another episode of tiffanyngu.com

Right now, I’m shooting this video at a park in my hometown. I have been coming here very often for the past few weeks.

Anyway, in this today’s video, I want to talk to you about the importance of being consistent in doing business.

So why is it important to be consistent when it comes to doing business online?

Frankly speaking, when it comes to doing business, you need to have the right attitude of an entrepreneur. Doing online business is mainly about gaining freedom in terms of time, location and financial.

Doing business online requires a lot of effort and time to learn new skills, for example, internet marketing skills. Not everyone is very savvy when it comes to this area (including me). I am an ex financial planner who started off the online marketing journey with no prior experience. Deep down in my heart, I know why I wanted to do the online business and I am willing to put in the time and effort to learn and master the new skills. Like most people, I bought many training courses, learning from the best of the bests from the industry. I even tried to implement what I have learnt. At first, it was bad. But as I do it everyday, I become better and better.

When it comes to doing business, it is the skills that you want to make sure you master it.

Let’s take an example, an Olympics badminton player. They are not born to play badminton very well at the first place. They are taught to play well. The thing is this, how come they can become better than the others? They can play so much better that they can qualify to play at the Olympics level. The reason is because they train very hard consistently everyday to sharpen their skills. As a result, they play better than the others and qualify to play at the Olympics.

It is very important to be consistent in doing what you need to do in your online business everyday. So how do you make yourself consistent?

  1. Know your WHY – Your WHY has to be bigger than your excuses. Do whatever it takes to make things happen.
  2. Have an accountability buddy – share what you have been working on and also some of the issues you are struggling with in your business.

I hope you find this video useful. Do share it with people whom you think will benefit from.
